THE HOLE

It makes you want to tear,

It makes you want to break,

It makes you want to scatter.

You feel disgust,

You feel outburst,

But it doesn’t go away.

You decide to try imaginations,

“How would it feel outside the hole?”

Then your mind says “Oh shut it!”

For all hope is gone.

And you sink in all together.

Right at the middle a little light shines,

You become curious. “Would it hurt to try it out?”

But you get tugged in deeper. “All hope is lost” says the voice.

Then soft whispers follow. “It doesn’t hurt to try right?”

You scoot a bit and allow the light to stay, resting at the bottom.

The atmosphere changes,

Suddenly you don’t want to tear

Suddenly you don’t want to break

Suddenly you don’t want to scatter

You feel tingles,

You feel joyful giggles,

Finally there is hope at last.
